摘要
The study analyzes data from a national survey of direct practice workers in Area Agencies on Aging. Rank orders of the ratings of the helpfulness of 14 occupational groups for abuse and neglect, respectively, are compiled at both the discovery and treatment stages of intervention. T-tests are used to compare the performances of each occupational group in cases of abuse to performances in cases of neglect. Discussion focuses on factors which might facilitate or inhibit cooperation across occupational lines in discovering and treating elder abuse and neglect. © 1991 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
