POLARIZATION REVERSAL IN PLZT 8/65/35 UNDER HYDROSTATIC PRESSURES

摘要
We investigated the effect of hydrostatic pressure on polarization reversal taking care to keep the pulse rise time very short compared to the switching time. Polarization reversal under pulse field conditions has been measured for hot-pressed ceramic (piezoelectric lead zirconium titanate) at the 8:65:35 composition. In contrast to earlier data, peaked switching current pulses with a clear maximum current could be observed and switching times are much shorter. The behavior in the low-field region is characterized.
