NUCLEAR EVIDENCE AGAINST DESPAGNAT THEORY OF NONLEPTONIC WEAK INTERACTIONS

摘要
The weak parity-violating nuclear force predicted by the d'Espagnat theory of nonleptonic weak interactions is calculated. It is found to be in conflict with the observed circular polarization of rays from heavy nuclei. In contrast, the predictions of the Cabibbo theory are consistent with the data. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
