摘要
Extreme rare earth element mobility has been discovered, associated with uranium mineralisation in metasedimentary rocks of the Lower Proterozoic Pine Creek Geosyncline, Australia. The rare earth element patterns and other geochemical evidence point to movement of the rare earth elements and uranium by carbonate complexes in a low temperature, oxidising and alkaline solution. © 1979 Nature Publishing Group.
