摘要
Synaptic bulbs in the spinal cords of snake and frog have been examined in the electron microscope. Two major types of bulb are recognizable in these tissues. One contains spherical type vesicles and ends predominantly on dendrites. The other type contains flattened vesicles, and these tend to be more numerous on the somata of large neurons, presumably motoneurons. The morphological differences between these two major types of synaptic bulb are not altered by aldehyde fixation. © 1969.
