摘要
Conception and functionality of a knowledge-based user interface for a dynamic simulator for chemical processes and plants are discussed. The interface to the user, the structure of the knowledge bases, and the tools for the knowledge acquisition process are presented and explained for the model editor, the physical property supply and the simulation experiment control. The user interface is implemented with the expert system building tool KEE(TM) in LISP whereas the numerical part of the simulator is programmed in FORTRAN.
