摘要
It is suggested that the addition of potassium nitrate to a Ni/SiO2 precursor results, after reduction, in a blocking of nickel particles by a K-containing compound. The potassium film is supposed to act as a molecular sieve: it is permeable to a small molecule (H2) and inhibits the access of large molecules to the nickel.
