摘要
Sediments and aquatic mosses (Fontinalis antipyretica) of two important Upper Austrian rivers - Danube and Traun - were investigated for a great variety of organic and inorganic substances: PCDD/Fs, PCBs, hexachlorocyclohexanes, chlorophenols, chlorobenzenes, octachlorostyrene, DDTs, DDDs, DDEs, triazines, PAHs, and heavy metals. Generally, the concentration levels were relatively low, an obvious impact of the waste waters of the provincial capital Linz was not detected. The use of the mosses a passive accumulation indicator proved to be a suitable instrument especially for the detection of chlorinated organic substances.
