摘要
Using the high-resolution Faraday effect (HRF) technique the domain movement induced by a transport current is observed directly. Under an applied external field, flux from the sample edges is removed and is shifted into the crystal. Applying a transport current to a remanent state causes only two channels located at the sample edges. The movement of domains of Shubnikov phase for various transport currents is investigated. The domain patterns and the current-induced behaviour for DvBaCuO and BiSrCaCuO single crystals are compared. The influence of a reversed current on the domain patterns and the shutting off of the current is also studied.
