摘要：

Polishing and control of mirrors of 8.2 m in diameter and 17.5 cm in thickness brought to solve quite new questions in optical, mechanical and servo processes, as well as in data processing for control of optical surfaces. Some of the solutions operated by REOSC are described in this paper.
