摘要
A fundamental method to solve functional optimization control problems is achieved through Hamilton-Jacobi theory. This method leads to feedback laws satisfying the HJB equation in a sense. On the basis of this approach, a design technique, applicable to a large class of optimization problems, is described. The technique is developed for systems of nuth order. An example demonstrates the effectiveness of the determined controller to stabilize the inverted pendulum.
