N2O EMISSIONS FROM A FLUIDIZED-BED CATALYTIC CRACKER

摘要
Measurements of primarily N2O have been carried out at a fluidized bed catalytic cracker employing a zeolite catalyst to degrade desulfurized vacuum-distilled gas oil. In view of the relatively low combustion temperatures (ca. 700-degrees-C) and high NO(x) levels (340-520 ppm) in the catalyst regenerator section, the N2O levels were surprisingly low, 3-25 ppm. In addition, only trace amounts of hydrocarbons and sulfur-containing species were measured.
