摘要
Ion pairing between aqueous hexacyanoferrate and tetramethylammonium ions was characterized by cyclic voltammetry. The half-wave potential shift of the Fe(CN)6(4-/3-) couple indicated the occurrence of a stepwise equilibrium with the quaternary ammonium ion. Determination of successive stability constants indicated that the species (TMA)3Fe(CN)6 predominates at high tetramethylammonium ion activity.
