摘要：

Samples of sea water, coastal sediment, marine algae and other organisms have been collected from Syrian coastal region sampling locations covering Latakia in the north, Tartous in the south and Baniyas in the middle. Samples were analyzed for Cs-137, Sr-90, Pu-239+240 and Po-210 by standard analytical procedures. This paper presents the results of these investigations and compares them with Mediterranean marine radioactivity levels reported by others.
