摘要
Two new Diels-Alder-type adducts, artonins C and D, were isolated from the Me2CO extract of the root bark of Artocarpus heterophyllus. The structures of artonins C and D were shown to be 1 and 2, respectively, on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. Artonins C and D are regarded biogenetically as Diels-Alder type adducts of a dehydroprenylchalcone derivative and chalcone derivatives. These two compounds are the first examples of natural Diels-Alder type adducts found in the plants of Artocarpus species. © 1990, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
