ANHARMONIC POTENTIAL CONSTANTS FOR CH STRETCHING IN HCO RADICAL

摘要
A close fit to the fundamental vibration frequencies of HCO and its isotopic modifications has been obtained by allowing for the anharmonicity of the CH bond using a Morse potential function. The apparent dissociation energy for this potential, DHCO ∼ 1.7 eV, indicates strong configuration interaction between structures corresponding to the combination of ground state and excited state dissociation products. © 1969.
