摘要
Our combination of both kinetic and statistical (based on a refined version of the ''principal-component analysis-self-modelling'' method) fluorescence analysis (KSFA) has been applied to study the rotamerism of the trans isomer of 1-(2-naphthyl)-2-(6'-quinolyl)ethylene (2,6'-NQE). The effect of the excitation wavelength on the fluorescence spectra, quantum yield and decay profiles allowed the spectral and photophysical properties and the ground-state energy difference of the three rotamers of trans-2,6'-NQE to be obtained.
