摘要：

The spin wave spectrum of layers of ferromagnetic thin films separated by nonmagnetic layers is derived on the basis of the linearized micromagnetic equations. Special emphasis is given to the coupling between the different magnetic layers via an indirect exchange mechanism, leading to the formation of new collective spin wave modes. The model for this nonlocal exchange coupling is formulated within the theory of micromagnetism, and it is described as an effective surface coupling of neighboring magnetic layers. For the wave vector regime covered by ferromagnetic resonance experiments the coupling by magnetostatic dipolar interactions is neglected.
