CALCULATED TRANSITION FREQUENCIES FOR MICROWAVE AND FAR-INFRARED ELECTRONIC-TRANSITIONS OF THE HYDROGEN MOLECULAR ION

摘要
Frequencies of electronic transitions between high vibration-rotation levels of the lsσg ground electronic state and the 2pσu first excited electronic states of H+2 and D+2 have been calculated. There is good agreement with the three transition frequencies that have been measured in the laboratory. Predictions for other transitions may be of astrophysical interest. © 1990.
