摘要
The properties of low-lying states of even and odd nickel isotopes are derived by means of the quasiparticle second-Tamm-Dancoff theories in the frame of the mixed configurations (2p32, 1f52, 2p12, 1g92)n. The Tabakin potential renormalized for particle-hole excitations of the core is used. The agreement between theoretical and experimental spectra is good for Ni58-60 but becomes worse for Ni61-64. Calculated effective electromagnetic operators are used to compute E2 and M1 transition rates, E2 and M1 static moments, and inelastic electron scattering form factors. The theory fails in the case of the E2 operator, while it is successful for the M1 operator. Spectroscopic factors for one-nucleon transfer reactions are calculated and found to be in general agreement with experiment. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
