摘要
The first 9,10‐bridged triptycene (1), n = 12, is a remarkable model compound for stereochemical studies. In spite of unfavorable steric conditions, it can be synthesized by twofold ring contraction with CC linkage. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1978 by Verlag Chemie, GmbH, Germany
