摘要
Methods are described for measuring the complex relative permittivity ε=ε′-ε″ of liquids using coaxial line apparatus. The determinations can be carried out over a wide range of frequency and temperature. A description is given of a cell consisting of a section of short-circuited line with a detector probe projecting from the inner conductor. By use of a computer, values of ε′ and ε″ may be obtained for liquids having attenuation coefficients extending over a considerable range. © 1968 The American Institute of Physics.
