摘要
This paper contributes to the problem of optimization of the balance measurements in complicated chemical engineering systems. On the basis of application of the calculus of observations the rules are derived for the classification of the measured and unmeasured streams according to their topological properties in the balance scheme. Parameters of some measured streams can be obtained from the direct measurement only. Parameters of some unmeasured streams cannot be calculated from the balance relations at all. In other cases the estimation of the parameter of one stream can be calculated from the results of measurements in several places and thus it is possible to choose the optimal method of measurment so as not to exceed the required magnitude of the error in the final result. © 1969.
