NUCLEAR MAGNETIC MOMENTS OF CU60 AND CU62 - HFS EXPERIMENT AND CONFIGURATION-MIXING CALCULATION

摘要
The hyperfine structures of 24-min Cu60 and 10-min Cu62 have been measured by the atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method. Our results are: Cu60(I=2), Δν=6033(4) Mc/sec, μI=+1.219(3) nm (diamagnetically corrected); Cu62(I=1), Δν=-2257.2(5) Mc/sec, μI=-0.380(4) nm. The spins were previously known. Configuration-mixing calculations in the 1f52-2p shell reproduce fairly well the spectra and binding energies of Cu58, Cu60, and Cu62, as well as these moments. © 1968 The American Physical Society.
