摘要
Optical properties of the Cr3+ ion in heavy-metal fluoride BIGaZYT glasses with different gallium concentrations are presented. Analysis of the spectroscopic data together with the time evolution of emission spectra allow for the assumption of two distinguishable distributions of Cr3+ sites in these glasses. Site distribution and quantum efficiency are found to be a function of gallium concentration.
