摘要：

An experiment was conducted in which hydrostatic pressures of the order of 2 kb were for the first time attained in India and ultrasonic wave velocity and attenuation measurements were made at different pressures starting from room conditions, in a study of five Indian Rock types. The samples investigated included shale, granite, quartzite, serpentinite and sandstone. Investigations covered the study of the affect of cyclical loading also. © 1969.
