INTERCALATION OF SILVER AND COPPER IN TITANIUM DISULFIDE FROM SOLID-STATE CELLS

摘要
The intercalation of silver and copper in titanium disulphide from solid-state cells has been investigated in kinetic, thermodynamic and coulometric studies. The results show that both processes produce structural modification in the dichalcogenide rather than simple expansion along the c axis. Furthermore, the results indicate a certain dependence of the diffusivity of the electrointercalated species upon the stoichiometry of the AgxTiS2 and CuxTiS2 materials. © 1979 Elsevier Sequoia S.A.
