摘要
The aim of this work is to study the physical structure and microtexture of coal organic matter and its evolution during pyrolysis and gasification, using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). With a high temperature X-ray diffractometer, we have followed the evolution of the X-ray diffractogram of different macerals during pyrolysis and gasification. For example, we reported the disappearance of the γ band during the gasification and pyrolysis of exinite. This has been explained by devolatilization, occurring with mixture of molecules including gases, but also liquid and semisolid tars corresponding to aromatization of the matter, as shown by the appearance of the (002) reflection. © 1990.
