摘要
The effect of bed moisture on fluidization characteristics of fine powders has been studied. Beds of glass microspheres and catalytic particles have been tested at variable water content and gas velocity up to the minimum for bubbling. Measurements include bed permeability, settled and fluidized bed voidages. Results indicate that the sensitivity to moisture drastically changes from porous to non-porous materials. There are also differences among porous materials with regard to the effect of water content on minimum velocity for fluidization and for bubbling, and on voidage-velocity relationship in the bubble-free range of fluidization. © 1979.
