摘要
This improved method permits working in real time and provides full automation of the measurement. The possibility of measuring an internal viscoelasticity of cells is also presented. Results of human red cell deformability measurements both with fresh and conservated blood samples, respectively, are described in detail. The advantage of this technique is that only small quantities of cells are needed for measurement, a small population of undeformable cells can be detected, and living cells are examined.
