摘要
Gramine tagged on the methylene group of its side chain with 14C and tritium was administered to 60‐day‐old barley shoots and the alkaloid allowed to be metabolized for 7 days. It was found that 0.84% of the radioactivity was incorporated into plant tryptophan, and the ratio of 14C to tritium remained the same as that of the administered gramine.
