The use of dermal grafts for the reinforcement of the cover over implants in breast reconstructions after radical mastectomy is illustrated in several cases. By carefully selecting the patients, we feel that this relatively minor procedure may replace the use of local or distant flaps in a good many breast reconstructions. © 1979 American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
