UPPER CRITICAL-FIELD OF D-WAVE SUPERCONDUCTORS

摘要
Within the weak-coupling model we study the upper critical field of a dx2-y2 superconductor in a magnetic field lying in the a-b plane and tilted by an angle theta from the a-axis. We find that the upper critical field exhibits four-fold symmetry and takes the maximum value when H parallel-to a. The anisotropy is about 10% at T = 0 K and decreases with increasing temperature and it vanishes completely at T = T(c). We also study the effect of impurity scattering on upper critical field. We find a quasi-scaling law as found for the upper critical field in heavy fermion superconductors.
