摘要
Cumene hydroperoxide-induced calcium release from mitochondria has been studied. Activation of lipid peroxidation by increasing concentrations of cumene hydroperoxide does not enhance calcium efflux induced by low (up to 50-mu-M) concentration of cumene hydroperoxide. It is concluded that cumene hydroperoxide-induced calcium release depends mainly on processes coupled to hydroperoxide reduction by an endogenous enzyme system.
