摘要
Among the cases of talipes equinovarus without arthrogryposis or CINS delects, the overall frequency of‘associated' anomalies was 13.3% with an elevated frequency for Orientals over Caucasians and Hawaiians. However, the data suggested no evidence of heterogeneity among the racial groups in sex ratio, laterality of foot involved, and correctability. The data have shown 110 suggestion of difference between the ease and normal populations in the frequencies of multiple birth and birth weight inconsistent with the theory that the intrauterine compression is an important etiological factor 111 talipes equinovarus. Further, the retrospective data showed no relationship between the risk of the disease and maternal illness during pregnancy or abnormal labor. © 1969 S. Karger AG, Basel.
