摘要
The multiple phase transformation of amorphous Ge0.8Te0.2 films, induced by a Q-switched, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser, is investigated by time-resolved TEM in two different modes: In the continuous mode the phase transformation is recorded by a photomultiplier/scintillator and a storage oscilloscope with a space/time resolution of 100 nm/3 ns. In the high-speed mode an image intensifier is attached to the microscope and double-frame images from intermediate states of the phase transition are recorded with exposure times ≥ 10 ns and variable delay times ≥ 50 ns. Additionally, the laser-induced "amorphization" of crystalline Ge0.15Te0.85 films is studied by both modes of time-resolved TEM. The "amorphization" proceeds during the laser pulse on the nanoseconds time scale. © 1990.
