RATE-EQUATION STUDY OF FLASH LAMP PUMPED NYAB SELF-FREQUENCY-DOUBLING LASER

摘要
Transient non-linear optical coupling rate equations have been established to describe the 1.06-mu-m laser and it SH generation at 0.53-mu-m in a pulsed self-frequency-doubling NYAB laser. The relationship between laser output and the input to the flash lamp as well as the optimization of the reflectivity of the output mirror at 0.53-mu-m and the length of the laser rod are discussed by numerical solutions of the equations introduced. The importance of the pumping effect of the second harmonic laser beam is also discussed.
