:
Design charts are given which permit the control engineer to select reasonable controller settings for liquid-level control loops by examining quantitatively the effects of these settings on damping coefficient, peak height, and rate of change of flow. The decrease in damping coefficient for a sequence of level tanks in series is quantified in an easy to use design chart. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
