摘要：

A gamma detector array for studying high-spin structure in nuclei has been constructed by combining detectors from two universities. The system contains 11 high-resolution Ge detectors with BGO Compton-suppression shields and 28 low-resolution BGO scintillators to provide multiplicity and sum energy information. A unique feature of the array is the heterogeneous nature of the detectors which were not originally purchased for such a system.
