FULLY NONLINEAR-ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITE GIRDER CABLE-STAYED BRIDGES

摘要
Fully nonlinear analysis of composite girder cable-stayed bridges is presented in this paper. Three different types of cable-stayed bridges are considered: fan, semi-fan and harp type. By incorporating both material and geometric nonlinearities, the effect of various nonlinearities on the failure load and near-collapse behavior of composite girder cable-stayed bridges is investigated. Results obtained in this research and the conclusions made provide valuable insight and guidelines for the design of composite girder cable stayed bridges.
