Isothermal vapour-liquid equilibrium data have been obtained for binary mixtures of n-hexane, n-heptane and n-octane with 1,2-dichloroethane at 323.15K, using a Rock and Sieg type recirculation still. Thermodynamic consistency of the data was tested by the point to point method. These data have been fitted to Wilson, NRTL AND UNIQUAC equations. UNIFAC predictions and experimental data are compared. © 1990.
