THE SYSTEMATICS OF CHARGED-PARTICLE EMISSION FOR 14 MEV NEUTRON-INDUCED REACTION CROSS-SECTIONS

摘要
The systematics of cross sections for 14 MeV neutron induced (n, p), (n, d), (n, t), (n, He-3) and (n, alpha) reactions are studied within a simple evaporation model. Using few parameters, global prescriptions are obtained giving the cross sections in terms of the parameter (N - Z + 1)/A instead of the generally used (N - Z)/A parameter. Improved fits to the data are expected as has been shown for the case of the (n, p) cross section.
