摘要
The radiative decomposition of NaN3 particles using CO2 laser radiation has been studied to determine the threshold and decomposition efficiency. Both long-pulse (0.05-5 s) and short-pulse (1 μs) irradiation were used. A proposed model adequately describes the main features of the decomposition. These experiments were conducted to provide information related to the feasibility of a novel high-pressure chemical laser concept. © 1979.
