THE NATURE OF FERROELECTRIC PHASE-TRANSITION DIFFUSION IN DISORDERED CRYSTALS

摘要
A model is developed which proposes a new origin for the diffusion of phase transitions in disordered ferroelectrics. It was noticed that the crystallographc positions which are equivalent in the ordered structure become nonequivalent in the disordered state. A model of coupled anharmonic oscillators is used to describe this effect. Assuming that the model parameters depend on the distance between ions, explicit expressions for the diffusion parameter are obtained.
