摘要
We present accurate simulations of the Bak-Sneppen evolution model. They show quite clearly that the model is not in the universality class of directed percolation, and that some of the critical exponents have values slightly different from those quoted in the literature. Also, we find that the critical point is not at p(c) = 2/3, making thus implausible a simple derivation of p(c). The number of sites with p < p(c) in an avalanche seems to increase only logarithmically with time. Finally, we argue that a similar model claimed to be in the directed percolation class by Jovanovic et al. [model 3, Phys. Rev. E 50 (1994) 2403] is indeed in this class for a simple reason.
