摘要
The optical spectroscopy of cobalt-doped ZnGa2O4 was observed and analyzed. Excitation, emission and decay time measurements indicate that the dopant is doubly charged and occupies the tetrahedral sites in the material. The observed visible and near infrared luminescent bands were assigned to the spin-allowed 4T1(4P) --> 4A2(4F) and 4T1(4P) --> 4T2(4F) transitions for a crystal field parameter Dq of 403 cm-1 and a Racah parameter B of 766 cm-1, respectively.
