摘要
Several wood papers were treated with polycaprolactone (PCL) to improve their physical properties. The water resistance and biodegradability of these PCL-paper composites were examined. The physical properties of the wood papers in the wet state were significantly improved by the PCL treatment. The biodegradability of the samples-examined by the changes in the appearance, weight loss and molecular weight-indicated that all the samples crumbled within 6 months, and 2 months were enough to degrade the PCL laminated papers. Both the number and weight average molecular weights of the residual PCL of the samples decreased slowly and the molecular weight distribution increased slightly during soil burial.
