摘要
The conidiomata of Ascochyta cypericola are pycnidial and originate by compound meristogenous activity. The pycnidial cavity evolves by a combination of both schizogenous and lysogenous processes. The pycnidial wall consists of 10-12 layers of prosenchymatous and pseudoparenchymatous tissues and is impregnated with melanin granules and lipid-like materials. Conidiogenesis is mono- or polyholoblastic in young pycnidia and phialidic in mature pycnidia. The conidia of A. cypericola are chiefly (70%) medianly or unequally 1-septate, some are 2-septate and rarely 3-septate with distoseptation.
