摘要
LiCH2CH2CH2CH2Li reacts with Ni(C5H5)2 in Et2O to give Li2 activated Ni-(CH2CH2CH2CH2)2(Et2O) (1). The Ni(II) complex is remarkably resistant to beta-elimination. DTA investigations showed that thermal decomposition takes place at 105-degrees-C. Interaction of 1 with carbon monoxide yields red-colored Li2Ni6(CO)12(thf)6 (4). IR studies showed that the CO reaction is very rapid even at -78-degrees-C.
