摘要
The efficiency of transfer of benzophenone triplet energy to a naphthalene impurity has been examined in crystalline and glassy-state benzophenone samples. The efficiency, measured using relative emission yields and lifetimes, was about two orders of magnitude lower in the glass. This has suggested to us the possibility that coherent and incoherent transport of excitons occur at significantly different rates.
